ULI Toronto: GUSTO 501 Tour and Dinner

Last week, ULI Toronto gave a tour of Gusto 501, a multi-level restaurant and cultural venue built by PARTISANS, a Toronto-based architecture firm. After that, there were cocktails, beverages, and a family-style meal with a variety of delicious foods.

Gusto 501 combines art, architecture, food, and culture to elicit awe and discovery, delivering on Janet Zuccarini's vision of offering a restaurant experience that eschews the status quo with its expansive volumes, and multiple sightlines, sentient terracotta topography, and heterogeneous spaces that animate different culinary programmes.

Gusto 501, which opened five weeks before Covid, has been highlighted in Architectural Record and THE PLAN, as well as received many prizes for innovation.

Thank you once again to the event's sponsor, Boszko & Verity Inc.
