YCL Committee Presents: Women in Leadership: Building Equity in Architecture, Design & Construction
On October 23, 2024, the TCA Young Construction Leaders (YCL) Committee hosted the Women in Leadership event at the Gensler Toronto office. This inspiring panel discussion focused on breaking industry barriers, achieving equity in leadership, and paving pathways for the next generation of women in construction and design.
Moderated by Timea Jakab, Studio Director at Gensler, the panel included influential industry leaders: Sonia Matheson (Gensler), Julia Evangelista (Govan Brown), Heela Omarkhail (The Daniels Corporation), and Kate LaBrash (QuadReal Property Group). They shared their insights and experiences, engaging both emerging and established professionals in the audience.
