ULI Toronto: Ford Government, Second Term: Getting to 1.5 Million New Homes

At The Globe and Mail Centre Centre today, I was invited to photograph ULI Toronto's event headlined "ULI Toronto: Ford Government, Second Term: Getting to 1.5 Million New Homes." It was a special in-person post-election event to assess the future scenario for the Greater Golden Horseshoe's real estate and development industry.

To address the escalating housing affordability crisis, a second-term Ford government is dedicated to developing an unprecedented volume of new home starts. What does this portend for the Greater Golden Horseshoe's development?

With an Economic Update by Peter Norman, Vice President & Chief Economist of Altus Group, 2 Panels, 1 on Housing Advisory Task Force & the Geography of Growth with Michael Cook, Tim Hudak, Lorraine Huinink, MCIP,RPP, and David Wilkes, and the 2nd on Sweating the Assets with Sherena Hussain, Shonda Wang, and Aidan Grove-White, it was quite an enjoyable morning.
