Speaking Up: Voices of The Community
Shakespeare In Action, a nonprofit organization, hosted a free community event called "Speaking Up: Voices of the Community" on Saturday, June 25, 2022, from 11 AM to 2 PM at 1844 Weston Road.
The event featured performances by young local artists. Hearing young voices from the neighbourhood perform spoken word, poetry, and other genres were free.
Akil Young, Ziggiry, Brandyn Leo, Martin Gomes, and Allen Julius all made special guest appearances.
