TCA 79th Annual Christmas Luncheon 2023
The Metro Toronto Convention Centre was ablaze with festive spirit on December 1, 2023, as the Toronto Construction Association (TCA) hosted its 79th Annual Christmas Luncheon. Over 2500 industry peers joined the celebration, turning the event into a memorable day of connection, laughter, and holiday cheer.
The festivities began at 11:30 am with bars scattered throughout the venue, setting the stage for the main event at noon. The atmosphere was set with light jazz and Christmas tunes playing, providing the perfect backdrop for guests to take their seats. The much-anticipated march-in of the Head Table, led by the Piper and coordinated by Jason Pelligra, signalled the beginning of the main program. The Head Table, led by Master of Ceremonies Derek Edwards, took center stage, ushering in the official program with toasts, grace, and introductions.
The luncheon featured a delectable menu, a PowerPoint presentation highlighting TCA's achievements, and a special video presentation from Presenting Sponsor United Rentals. The program also included a heartfelt tribute to Hazel McCallion and the announcement of the 2023 Innovative Product Award winners.
