Launching a new in-house studio brand for La Presse
An informational outlet called La Presse has the biggest independent French-language newsroom in North America. Their articles are published on their website, in a digital version for tablets, and in their mobile application. Their daily, which has won multiple awards for the caliber of its content, is notable for its thorough and varied coverage of current affairs, its investigations and in-depth reporting, as well as the substantial amount of space it allocates to discussions.
Quality information must be viewed as a public utility that is available to as many people as possible in a climate where false news is prevalent. It can't be restricted to people who can afford to subscribe to a certain channel.
