Interior Design Show Toronto 2023

For over two decades, the Interior Design Show has been a driving force in the world of design, becoming one of the most successful recurring events in Canadian history. What started as a small, local showcase has transformed into a must-attend event for international designers and architects, who come from all corners of the globe to present their latest works on the IDS main stage.

Over the years, the Interior Design Show has attracted over 660,000 visitors and continues to grow, with attendance almost doubling since its inception. The show has established itself as the go-to event for design creativity, innovation and inspiration, bringing together hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of visitors annually.

In 2012, the Interior Design Show was acquired by Informa, the largest publicly-owned organizer of exhibitions, expositions, and training events in the world. With a presence in over 40 countries and 150 offices, Informa connects over a million professionals each year. The newly formed Informa Canada manages over 53 trade shows, consumer shows, and conferences across the country, serving markets such as construction, real estate, craft, art, and design.

The pandemic altered every aspect of our lives, including how we set up our homes and offices and the length of a workday. Global events changed manufacturing, pricing, and shipping after the pandemic. Along with these phenomena, society has come to terms with the urgency of the climate crisis, which is another factor influencing how people frame their purchasing decisions.

The Moving Parts of the design world will be on display at IDS 2023, including products made with sustainable materials and components, designs that adapt to the way people want to live and interact today, and work produced by manufacturing processes that have been reinvented.

In conclusion, the Interior Design Show has come a long way since its humble beginnings and has made a lasting impact on the world of design. With its commitment to creativity, innovation and inspiration, the IDS continues to be the breeding ground for the latest trends and advancements in interior design.
