After a lengthy two-year absence, I had the wonderful opportunity to capture The CivicAction Emerging Leaders Network's inaugural live event last night. The TIFF Bell Lightbox's LUMA Patio hosted about 45 peers.

The Emerging Leaders Network (ELN) of the CivicAction Leadership Foundation connects, educates, and engages young leaders from all throughout the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA). The ELN was founded in 2006 and today has more than 3000 rising leaders, including alumni of the DiverseCity Fellows programme. It represents a wide spectrum of communities, sectors, and ethnocultural origins across the GTHA.

The ELN is open to anybody who is committed to creating a better area and identifies as an emerging or aspiring leader in their career and/or community, whether through their day job, volunteerism, or other activities.
